  • Contact person name
  • WhatsApp number
  • Email address (optional)
  • Number of providers
  • Current booking method
  • Pain points (optional)

For Clinic Users (After Launch)

  • Patient names and phone numbers
  • Appointment details (date, time, service)
  • Communication history via WhatsApp
  • Consent records

2. How We Use Your Data

  • To contact you about DocPinger launch and updates
  • To process and manage appointment bookings
  • To send appointment reminders via WhatsApp
  • To improve our services based on usage patterns
  • To comply with legal obligations

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. We use:

  • Encrypted database storage (AES-256)
  • Secure HTTPS connections
  • Access controls limiting who can view data
  • Regular security audits

4. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as necessary to provide our services:

  • Waitlist data: Until you request deletion or 2 years, whichever is sooner
  • Patient appointment data: As configured by the clinic (typically 7 years for medical records)
  • Communication logs: 90 days for service improvement

5. Your Rights Under PDPA

You have the right to:

  • Access - Request a copy of your personal data
  • Correction - Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Withdrawal - Withdraw consent for data processing
  • Deletion - Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements)

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with:

  • Cloud service providers (for hosting and storage)
  • WhatsApp/Meta (for message delivery)
  • Google (for calendar integration, only with your consent)
  • Legal authorities (when required by law)

7. How to Exercise Your Rights

To request access, correction, or deletion of your data:

  • Patients: Send "DELETE" via WhatsApp to the clinic number
  • Clinic owners: Contact us at abu@docpinger.com

We will respond to your request within 21 days as required by PDPA.

8. Cookies & Analytics

Our landing page uses privacy-focused analytics (Plausible) that does not use cookies or track personal data. We may use essential cookies for functionality after login.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or WhatsApp.
